Inspired by the apartment buildings in Nice Old Town, France. The abstract shapes and patterns with the old shutters and windows, drainpipes and a satellite dish.
Three woodblocks were used in creating this image. Printed by hand in the Japanese method using a bamboo baren and water based inks.

Water based ink, masa paper, Japanese plywood, bamboo baren, cutting tools
