This painting had been created within the walls of the Academy of Arts during my studies with the outstanding contemporary artist Yuri Kalyuta. The plasticity and grace of the model made her very attractive to be depicted. It seemed to be an exciting task to convey both the restrained, stingy colour of the environment and the delicate skin tone of the model.
