Oil on wood 35x70x3cm (13.8x27.6x1.2in) 2014

Andrea is my nephew and appears in many of my artworks. Here you can see him standing at the swimming pool’s border, hesitant, just before to dive into the water. I decided to paint this artwork after my brother showed me the picture he took at the swimming pool. The colours I chose are vibrant and the tecnique quite gestural. The backgorund is faded to let the figure of the child stand out.

Andrea is an oil painting from my collection ‘Portraits’. It is painted on a wood table 35x70cm and it is ready to hang.
