A beautiful woman with a fierce look in her eyes holding a sword. A strong, empowered, determined, sexually confident woman, yet also quite vulnerable. This was for me a catchy combination. Reminded me of Amazon women.
I created this artwork with pastel pencils on Clairefontaine Pastelmat, a paper card specially created for pastel paintings. Pastel works age beautifully, their brilliant colour does not fade with the passing of time.
This artwork is part of my Graceful Feminine Series.
