Original artwork description:
I am exploring mixed media and collage. This piece can be considered as prototype. Because all I have in mind in the beginning is the color theme. Everything else is added during the process.
The base layer is gouache on watercolor paper. Then some washi paper collage and then ink drawing. Finally I use pastel pencil to correct some spots. The painting is sealed and framed behind glass. Frame size is about 13.25" by 16.25" with 0.75" depth on edges. I install hardware so it is ready to hang.
