This abstract watercolour painting was inspired by a visit to the saline at Aigues-Mortes in France. Some pools of the saline show a bright pink colour, which contrasts with the blue of other pools and the walls of the city of Aigues-Mortes in some distance.

The painting shows a strong combination of pencil drawing and watercolours, giving it quite some expressive dynamic.
