View across a meadow in Dorset, towards a series of hedges and woods under a hill. Warm summer light with deep shadows. It is on a favourite walk from our old family house and the meadow often has sheep in it. It has memories of walks with my late father.
I recently resumed painting landscapes in oils after a 40-odd year gap. Starting small and intense.
