Since my youth, I have been fascinated by the night sky. I spent many peaceful nights in the back yard with my telescope and chirping crickets. My photomontages allow the viewer moments of quiet contemplation and serve as reminders that the universe beyond Earth is there always. I have conveyed this here by using the night sky against daylight - brightened objects in the foreground.
This abandoned house is on Long Lake in the beautiful Adirondack State Park in northern New York. It is dark with muted blues and greens and layers of textures.
This image is available in the following limited edition sizes. Prices may increase as editions sell:
