Trahtemyriv penisula in Cherkassy region is considered one of sacral places in Ukraine. From a Skythian settlement of VI B.C. to a key residence for Cossack Hetmanate in XVI-XVII, and a histoical and cultural reserve nowadays, it keeps attracting people and offering magnificent views over the Dnipro river.
We came there in early autumn of 2020, on one of those rare pandemic days when travels were allowed. Finally some freedom! We felt like Cossacks ourselves. Four hours that we planned to spend there were definetely not enough, but we were granted with this splendid glow, when the sun suddenly came out from dark evening clouds.
SIZE: The watercolour is 37,5 x 57 cm or 14,76" x 22,4".
STORAGE: The painting needs to be kept far from direct sun, since it affects the colours of the sketch, bleaching it.
PACKAGING: I ship the watercolor rolled in a cardboard tube.
SHIPPING: This watercolour is shipped with Royal Mail Sign and Track service.
