We got to this place for three days on horseback. The weather was constantly changing: it was wild cold, then hail, then the bright sun. You cannot get to the Shavlinsky Lakes by car, there are only narrow paths.
Most of the time while I was at Shavlinskoye Lake the weather was cloudy with high humidity and fog. But suddenly, in an instant, a ray of the sun appears through the cloudy shroud. I also captured this state on canvas.
The picture was painted from nature.
Location: Lake Shavlinskoye, Altai Republic, summer 2019.

White spots on the canvas can be seen in the painting. They appeared because during the painting it was a little rain.
The painting is stretched on cardboard. I will stretch the painting on a stretcher before shipping.
