Artwork description:

I watched David Attenborough’s documentary on the most colourful species in the world and as he introduced the programme he stood with a pair of toucans as they collected berries in what you’d think were these very cumbersome beaks, but instead they were graceful and delicate, and they looked so kind and calm. I instantly fell in love and needed to make a portrait of these beautiful birds.
Here’s my first linocut which will be part of a variable edition of only 12.
Please be aware that as these are hand pressed that there will be textural marks and creases caused by the nature of it being made by hand and not a digital copy.
