Original impressionist watercolour on extra rough textured watercolour paper bockingford 300gsm 140lb.
I created this watercolour outside in nature. I enjoyed it so much and thanks to my artist friends for meeting up to create.
I used a wet on wet technique leaving areas of white paper where I didn’t wet the paper. I was inspired by the dramatic sky and the beautiful colours.
I used my a Chinese brush for the washes and a filbert brush for the mark making. Etched out the grasses with my nail.
