Artwork description:
I was inspired by a character in a book I was reading that referred to ' To your good health' and although the piece of work is looking down into a crystal wine glass, I like that it can be viewed as a rose or even something quite mechanical.
The glasswork is linocut and the 'wine' is screen-print. I think the combination works well to create a strong image.
Materials used:
relief inks and screen-print onto Somerset 300g printmaking paper
