A.6. 16in. X 23in. Ink on Bristol board.
I feel that I am making progress in deciding which direction to take my work. During the making of this drawing an old thought came back to haunt me and that is, why just use a colour to fill a shape, why not use a pattern? No not like Quilting, which is using patterns to create a pattern. What I am talking about is using patterns in a similar way that the Impressionists used dots. This way of thinking is not clear to me yet but I am starting to feel that it is worth further investigation.
