Original artwork description:

A 99 (ninety-nine) is a simply soft serve ice cream in a cone with a half a flake chocolate bar stuck into it. The origin of why it's called a 99 is apparently lost in time, but for people who grew up in Britain during the 80s and 90s, a ninety-nine with a flake was a staple of summertime, an ultimate treat on a hot day.

I've painted ice cream and summery desserts many times in the past - check out the other paintings in my shop - but this new A4 painting is a development of my style in that it has a human hand as well as natural background elements incorporated into it. As usual the emphasis is on colourful graphic impact rather than realism, using blocks of colour separated by thick black outlines.

The end result is a bold, bright, and original artworks that would brighten any room in the house.

It is painted in acrylics and Posca paint pens on thick high quality A4 paper. It is signed and dated on the back, as pictured.

PLEASE NOTE: the painting doesn't come framed, but I've taken photos of it in an A4 frame for display purposes.
