Been creating since I could hold something to make a mark, ended up with a degree from the College of Creative Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Until recently was selling art from my space in the Funk Zone (several years).... All my art has two criteria: it must float, and it must glow. That aim has narrowed to monotypes. They are very pleasing for me to view personally, at the end of the day with a beer. Folks have sent photos, framed in their homes, and they look great. They are the finest oil-based ink on 100+ pound cotton paper and have plate marks as unique feature/detail. They can be oriented horizontal or vertical to different affect. As a colorfield I've been told they're arrestingly beautiful. Ink on paper does things paint can't. You should get one, promise you'll be stoked! :)
