Detailed painting of a forest of seaweed inspired by the multicoloured seaweeds found on the Welsh beaches near my home. This Rockpool was clear and deep with seaweed climbing hanging in the water. The sun shines on the still wet and shiny fronds creating these rich colours.
A riot of colours and flowing forms resulted.
This large painting is executed in artists quality oil paints on primed board.
