Original artwork description:

As the pandemic hit around the world, I was locked in a flat in Barcelona with my young son and my soon-to-be ex-partner, in one of the strictest and most Draconian lockdowns in the world. I found art and yoga to be my two salvations during this extremely difficult period of my life.
I would often work late into the night immersed in my art, music and thoughts. '2020' was one of the artistic results from this period. It continues on from my 'Views From The Street' project, where I use my own photographs to create art that reflect what is being said on the streets, in a particular city, at a particular point in time. I created '2020' to illustrate, and to help me make sense of the craziness going on around me. The design includes photographs from my back catalogue that somehow illustrate what I was feeling and thinking, plus new photos taken on the streets of Barcelona and also some photos that people sent me during this period. This was all before the release of the highly controversial vaccine. It is a very personal piece that I wasn't even sure I would ever want to show to the public, but I have now been convinced that I must.
The artwork comes in a handmade wooden frame. There is no glazing, as the photographic film that the images are printed on is UV resistant and can be wiped with a slightly humid cloth if necessary. It is signed on the front and back, as well as coming with a signed certificate of authenticity. It will be packaged with plenty of bubble wrap and strong cardboard, as well as being insured by the courier so that you have peace of mind that it will arrive safely.
You can also commission me to create a similar artwork to the dimensions that you require.

Materials used:

I create the design digitally and print it onto high quality photographic vinyl, which I apply to foam board. Then I create different block heights onto which I glue my photo-squares.
