Evening Reflections (2025) Original Acrylic Painting by Alex Mensah

This atmospheric painting captures a quiet, rain-soaked evening where deep blue tones envelop a glowing pathway lined with golden leaves. The rhythmic fall of rain softens the cityscape, while reflections shimmer gently across the wet ground, creating a sense of calm movement and introspection.
The contrast between the cool blues and warm amber highlights evokes both solitude and comfort, suggesting a moment of pause within the flow of urban life. Expressive brushstrokes and layered textures invite the viewer to step into the scene, feel the damp air, and walk slowly beneath the illuminated trees. This work explores themes of transition, memory, and the quiet beauty found in everyday moments.
