Art of the Day: "The Land of Giants" by Marc Ehrenbold

“Africa has many iconic locations that are a must visit for photographers. A few years ago I was fortunate enough to be on safari near the Kenyan Tanzanian border. Setting off at sunrise, my goal was to shoot Mount Kilimanjaro in all its splendour. As with many things luck then decided to play an important role. A lone bull elephant ambled into my shot instantly adding context to this panoramic view. I quickly reframed, keeping him on the edge to appear more balanced and to leave space for any movement. The elephant I have since named Serendipity.”
