    Sky Portrait Artist of the Week

    The final episode (for now?) of the weekly portrait challenge was last week. Here's my attempt at the sitter Oti Mabuse. This drawing is created with the Repaper tablet- it tracks your pencil as you draw to make this digital version. You can see the finished drawing on my Ko-fi. I'll be adding more drawings soon.

    Artwalk Wakefield are having a Film Night tonight for Artwalk at home. This is my prototype for a film, produced a few years ago: Loop - a film created from paintings created from computer prints created from photos created from film... "Some of the people ... are fictional, while others hover between the fictional and the real... What we are actually seeing is a myriad of pixels... dynamically shifting patterns of colour splotches that once were scattered off some animate objects... We are watching a million or so dots that 'code' for these peoples emotions" #artwalkwakefield

    I was due to show in the Project Space this month for Artwalk Wakefield, but sadly this has been prevented by Covid-19 restrictions.     A new painting completed

    A new painting completed

    Latest painting completed at the studio. I am still able to fulfill orders, despite the National Lockdown- I'm very lucky to have my own separate, dedicated studio space so I am able to socially distance and continue working. Please allow plenty of time for orders - if you are thinking about Christmas gifts, now is the time to choose!
