Imagine you are outside in nature, you take a moment to pause, to breathe deeply. Then you look around you and realize how beautiful life can be and how valuable your relationships are. You feel your inner strength growing, you feel connectedness spreading through you. You feel one with yourself, one with nature and everything that surrounds you. Such moments are familiar to you? Then we have something in common! Because I know from experience how important these moments are, in which you stop, feel yourself and simply BE, I would like to motivate you not only to go out into nature and experience this, but to help you strengthen your inner power by creating artworks that encourage to feel yourself and others on an emotional level. "Inner strength and joy of life through the feeling of connection with yourself, other people and nature" - this is what I want to express through my art.

My name is Simona Ledl aka Mona L. I am a visual artist focusing on painting (acrylic), drawing (drawing ink) and printing (linocut and monoprints with all sorts of materials and colors).

Being in touch with nature and getting inspired by the positive energy coming from it plays an important part in my working process: I love spending my time wandering through the woods, smell the soothing scent, feel the soft, sometimes rough soil on my skin and admire its blaze of color and its fascinating shapes. Even though I hardly choose nature and landscapes as motives for my works, the subject inspires and influences me in many ways.

The topic of “connectedness” plays a central role in my work as an artist. Be it the connection to oneself, to others, to nature or generally to the environment that surrounds us. Basically everything is connected, I try to convey that in my works and therefore create the motives of my drawings by one connected line.
