    🧵 How «Lace Garden» Came to Life

    I named this artwork «Lace Garden» because it was my first experiment using hand-crocheted cotton lace as part of the artistic medium itself 😄 At first, I wasn’t sure how to integrate the lace naturally into the composition, but the technical process turned out easier than expected, just very detailed and time-consuming. The real challenge was combining textured collage, lace, and paint into one harmonious visual language. Gradually, the piece began to resemble delicate fantasy plants and ornamental grasses growing in an imaginary garden 🌿 This work became an important turning point in my artistic process, and I’m truly happy with the result 💛

    💜 Dreaming of Otherworldly Gardens

    I’ve always loved imagining things beyond our understanding, especially what plants on distant planets might look like. For my diptych «Galaxy Garden», I chose layered purple tones because this color reminds me of galaxies, cosmic energy, and the mystery of space 🌌 Purple also feels deeply symbolic to me, connected with intuition, spirituality, and inner harmony. Perhaps this imagined garden carries a little of that energy too 💫 I truly enjoy exploring the connection between art, color, symbolism, and fantasy.

    👑 Creating the «Royal Garden» Triptych

    Sometimes it almost feels challenging to build a botanical composition across three separate panels, each with its own mood, texture, and visual rhythm. But once I start working, intuition usually takes over and the process begins to unfold quite naturally. In this triptych, I combined a wide spectrum of brown tones, from warm ochre shades to deeper, cooler reddish-browns. This layered, earthy palette inspired the name «Royal Garden». The piece fits beautifully into contemporary interiors, especially when paired with calm natural materials and soft textures. Trends may change, but there is always something grounding and comforting about earthy, organic colors that people tend to connect with.

    🌸 Inside the «Venus Gardens» Process

    A glimpse into the creation process of my botanical triptych «Venus Gardens». This was the first time I decided to use a large amount of hand-crocheted lace within a single work. The result became a collection of semi-abstract, fantasy-like flowers that feel as if they could exist on distant, magical planets. The soft pastel tones evoke femininity, tenderness, and a world filled with fairytale energy. Sometimes I think adults also need a safe and dreamy space where imagination can freely exist. We should never stop dreaming.

    Here’s a look at how my butterfly artworks come to life in an interior setting. I usually present each piece on its own, but seeing them on the wall together really changes the feeling, it becomes more complete. These works are designed to complement one another, so you can mix and match them to create your own custom arrangement. All the butterflies are created to work harmoniously as a set, which makes it easy to build a composition that fits your space perfectly, whether you choose just a few pieces or cover a larger wall.

But I realized that showing the work together with the artist creates a stronger emotional connection and a more personal experience. Nature has always been an endless source of inspiration for me, so it felt natural to photograph these pieces surrounded by greenery and organic landscapes.

    A small glimpse into how my abstract, fantasy-inspired characters come to life. In this collage, you can see the initial pencil sketches, where I work on proportions and anatomy, alongside the finished portraits in color. I never know in advance how the final piece will look or which colors I’ll choose. Everything develops spontaneously during the process, and a lot depends on the background I select for each character, it plays a key role in shaping the final image.

    🎨 Where My Portraits Begin

    A look into my process of creating abstract portraits. Interestingly, the ideas don’t come first, they emerge during the process itself. It all starts with a richly textured, colored background that I create using water and fluid oil paint. I begin with a basic anatomical sketch of the head, then paint it in a single color using different tonal values. This tonal study helps guide the final color work. After that, I transfer the drawing onto the background and develop it in color, balancing it with the tones and mood of the surface. The final result is never predictable, it’s always a mix of intuition, chance, and imagination.

    🎥 Mixed Media Diptych Close-Up

    Take a closer look at this small-scale mixed media diptych on paper, shown from every angle in the video. The backgrounds are created using a fluid oil technique, layered with collage and hand-crocheted lace elements. In this piece, I also experimented with extra heavy gel for the first time, adding subtle raised details and a more tactile, dimensional surface. Each artwork is small in size, but can be beautifully elevated with a larger mat, giving it a more substantial presence on the wall.
