Superb! I was lucky enough to live in the same city as the artist so the painting was delivered by Peter. Great bonus to meet the artist in person. The painting is beautiful and has a perfect spot between the dining room and the kitchen on the central wall. Thank you Peter I love it!

I commissioned a painting from Pete based on liking his posted work. Never having commissioned a painting before I was nervous and unsure of the process not knowing what the finished product would look like and being in NY I was not able to see any of his previous work except online. From the beginning of the process, Pete was incredibly communicative and supportive. Once I committed Pete continued to provide updates and snapshots of the progress of the painting. It arrived in the time frame he proposed and in excellent condition. I was more than pleased with the finished work, it looks great hung, as well as capturing the mood and look of the photo that I had sent to him. I am now very pleased that I purchased a painting from him and commissioned a work that I love. I have already received a lot of compliments on the painting and recommended him to friends. I am looking forward to purchasing additional paintings from him in the future.

I have admired Peter Slade's work for quite some time now, and have often stared longingly at his incredibly lifelike pieces. His work celebrates whimsy, and for me in particular, a chance to relive my childhood in England. I grew up eating Mr. Kipling's Cherry Bakewells - one of my top five favorite treats - and this painting immediately gave me happy chills! It sent me back to a moment-in-time when I was carefree; when being able to take "A Bite of the Cherry" was peak-indulgence & joy. It should also be noted that the detail... being able to stare closely at the painting, then slowly moving backwards as the images come into focus is wondrous delight! Truly magnificent! Thank you so much Peter! I hope to enjoy many more of your pieces in the future.
