'Prairie Horse', the painting I did

The painting of my prairie horse conveys the strength, alertness and attention of the animal. Created with knife, oil paints and canvas, the piece contains a special love and admiration that I have for these majestic creatures. I have always had a deep connection with horses, having worked with them in the past and having drawn and studied their anatomy. I feel this bond and love for horses will always be reflected in my art. The meadow is dark, but the horses can still be sensed, their presence felt in the air. Their whinnying and hooves striking the ground can be heard in the distance, a reminder of their grace, strength and beauty.

    Paintings depicting religious themes

Happy Orthodox Easter! Wishing you peace, kindness and love. Here is My interpretation of Vladimir's Mother Of God And Christ Icon fresco: Vladimir's Mother Of God And Christ Icon fresco: As it is said, the iconography of Orthodox icons is inextricably linked to the soul of the Christian Iconographer who sees the icon as a spiritual symbol of Christ, His Mother, or His Saints. Distinctly, the Russian people do not approach icons as idols. Spiritual images are revered by them, and their souls seek them in sorrowful or joyful prayers. Russian Iconographer prays and fasts to create his icons. Due to this, an angel of God is said to hold the iconography's hand. With God's blessing, the maker believes that it was not his hands, but his soul that created the icon. This truth is manifested by numerous ancient Russian icons. You can see in just a glance the strength of spirit, the faith in God's merciful grace, and the hope for salvation that fill the eyes of the Mother of God of Vladimir. Externally and internally, it is a beautiful place. The paintings depict religious themes. No. 1 is entitled "Mother of God" and was painted from a Russian Orthodox icon by Rublev. Painting no. 2 is titled "Adobe Church in Santa Fe" (New Mexico). The third painting was painted with a palette knife and is titled "Archangel Gabriel." "Creation of Adam" is a natural fresco which I tried to recreate with my own style. "Healing Hands" is painting no. 5, a Native American symbol. A palette knife was used to paint the "Angel" painting in the sixth painting. As the seventh painting, we have the "Christ Icon" - another fresco based on a Russian Orthodox ancient icon. Bonnie, my Art Collector, writes: "Happy day. Dylan's Rabbit arrived today. Perfect, just perfect. Those of you who know Olena's work are probably familiar with it, and I will share a picture later. Nothing, however, can compare to the original, which will soon hang in Dylan's nursery alongside "Dylan's Horses." Thank you Olena, you're a star! The customary fee was paid online last night, and it was delivered today! Oh my! This is a wonderful piece of art, Olena. I just adore it. Then I discovered these beautiful paintings online.

My Facebook friend wrote: "I was at my lowest point in my life, so depressed that I could not eat, and I began to search for art, just to look at pretty things. I had signed off Facebook because I did not want to be a part of social media, and I found these beautiful paintings online. I liked them so much, and guess who the artist was? It wasn't until later that I realized it was you. The Aspen Symphony (Palette Knife) 48" x 60" x 1.5"

An aspen and birch tree landscape commissioned to 60" x 48" x 1.5"

My palette knives and thick layers of impasto are what I'm using in my studio at the moment to paint Colorado landscapes. As I paint with palette knives and thick layers of paint, I achieve a texture and 3-dimensional look that captures the beauty of the Colorado landscape.
