    Be Still in Flow

    What an amazing month in London as resident artist at The Bankside Hotel and as part of the Totally Thames festival. A chance for me to celebrate the Thames - its beauty, energy, and timeless cycle. A meditation on the nature of the Thames and how it connects us, shaping our lives through its ever-changing forms. “I see the Thames as a living being, a flowing thread that connects us all to each other and to nature.”

    I am currently loving being artist in residence in the makers studio at this wonderful hotel right next to the Thames - as part of the Bankside Hotel x Contemporary Collective Residency Programme. The studio to open to the public this September for 'Be Still in Flow' – my immersive exploration of the Thames through colour, movement and memory, presented for the Totally Thames Festival 2025.

    A heatwave here in the UK, how do I know? Both doors to my studio are open wide and it's still too hot to work in there. I've turned my days upon their head- working in the studio in the evenings instead of in the morning. Being warm - a lovely problem to have.
