    Here is an interior shot of my studio in 2015 as I prepare paintings for my solo show at Gallery 924 in Indianapolis. The entire series was created using subjects from clothing company American Apparel. I was interested in capturing contemporary portraits showcasing today's masculine and feminine culture as portrayed by a modern, hipster and, oftentimes, controversial advertising perspective.

    "Classical Waste" - preview video

    This is a video previewing my solo exhibition titled "Classical Waste" at Gallery 924 in Indianapolis, IN in May, 2015. The series focuses completely on me painting portraits of American Apparel models taken from their ads and website. The series was to examine what masculinity and femininity look like in today's advertising culture as well as asking the question on how it has changed in portrait painting since the Renaissance.
