Dear James Apologies for the lack of personal message to accompany the artwork, I probably hoped that the work would speak for itself. And I certainly hope that you like and enjoy living with it. However it feels a bit harsh to rate my communications as low as 3 stars out of app 5 as a consequence. That would seem appropriate if I had sent the wrong print, or a rude message, but that was not the case. Best wishes Janis

I really love Jane's work. The shipping experience wasn't great. I'd recommend packing more carefully and shipping via Fedex or something other than standard mail. I would happily pay more money to avoid our dysfunctional postal system. The package got lost by our mail carrier and then finally arrived a little beaten up. But the piece is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL and well worth the wait!

Dear Lilah, Am really pleased you like the print but sorry its arrival was so delayed. Wanted to make sure that it was just the packaging which was battered rather than the print itself. I used to wrap my etchings flat with a lot of reinforcement but have found cardboard rolls a great deal safer as couriers often go out of their way to fold flat parcels in half! I will look into using other couriers for the US but have heard horror reports about FedEx in the past and whoever the Royal Mail uses, has always delivers- eventually. Anyway am very glad you like the etching. Best wishes Janis

I like artwork to have a meaning to me and this reminded me of a time i nearly drive of the road with excitement when a barn owl flew alongside me as i was driving home at dusk from my late parent's house in Dorset. Janis must have sat up straight and listened at art school! - this print is superbly executed and full of detail. It arrived quickly and securely and I was kept informed of its progress from UK. Delight to correspond with the artist about her work.
