    A4 Original Paintings Series

Here's a photo of a collection of my original paintings on high quality A4 paper, collected together with all of their bold bright colours on display. I originally started this series as an alternative to a bulky, expensive, and difficult to post canvas painting, but it's since grown to be quite popular. More original and lasting than a print, but more affordable than a full canvas, check out my range of original pop art paintings on A4 acrylic paper.

    Multiple retro packaging artworks

    Multiple retro packaging artworks

Here's a selection of some of my favourite retro food packaging paintings that I've done. Whilst they're pop art style paintings, I usually use a canvas that matches the shape of the item I'm depicting, and paint the design around the edge, creating more of a 3D art object, like Claes Oldenburg.

    Setting up an exhibition

Here's me setting up my recent solo exhibition at the Stour Space art gallery. The theme I chose was 'discontinued', so there was a lot of new paintings of retro tech, discontinued snacks, and vintage designs. Any unsold paintings will be added to my ArtFinder shop in due course.

    Retro Sweet Shop Range

    Retro Sweet Shop Range

I love painting food but I also love nicely designed food packaging almost as much. Sweet packaging in particular always had such a graphic impact and they used such eye-catching fonts and colours. So I've continued to recreate some of my retro childhood favourites, with the Chewits package being my latest. This image shows a nice range of 80s / 70s sweet shop treats from my child hood. Monster Munch, Chewits, a Drumstick Lolly, a Fruit Salad and a Black Jack are all represented here. Keep an eye on my shop for more appearing soon!

    My largest ever painting...

    My largest ever painting...

In the summer of 2018 I completed my largest ever painting, a huge long canvas depicting five ice lollies in my usual pop art style. This shows the canvas when it was about half finished, on my desk in my makeshift art studio. The full painting is now available to buy in my shop.

    Visiting my mural

    Visiting my mural

I recently got asked to model some French Workwear jackets for the customer who commissioned the ice cream and Fab Lolly mural painting. That's me and my wife in front of the painting, which started life as a previously sold painting on ArtFinder.

A selection of my A4 pieces

A selection of my A4 pieces

My A4 paintings are an easier and more affordable way to own a piece of my original art. I sell them unframed so they’re easier to post, you just need to buy your own frame for hanging. I also have a few A3 unframed paintings too.

My desk workspace, New Year's Eve 2017

As 2017 drew to a close I spent the day completing a few unfinished paintings and illustrations, creating stencils for new work in 2018, and doing a stock take of my vast stationery collection. I can't wait to share new work with you in 2018.
