A Life Time Story - Orchids and Roses on Wood Tray with A Weaving Basket 20/05/2021 Artist Acrylic on triple primed gesso stretched gallery wrapped canvas. Artwork painted extend to all Sides. Ready to hang, D rings and wire attached at the back in gallery standard. Comes with certificate of authenticity. Sealed with clear varnish. 76.2 (W) x 121.9 cm (H) x 3.5 cm (D) By HSIN LIN Affirmation: Show appreciation and love and the rest shall come to you. I would like to share the concept behind this piece if you have a bit of time. I started this artwork around February. It’s been a long journey, sunny days and rainy days. Long working hours required determination and faith to achieved. I spent almost every day studying those intricate composition and fine details. The process wasn’t an easy task but It’s a challenge that I enjoyed, and I happy to say I finally have it completed in May. By the time I have this artwork completed, I decided to name this artwork - A Life Time Story, which is an extension from my previous award-winning artwork – A Life Time Journey, A Life time blessing, and A Life Time Love. Because we are all part of this story, and the story goes on. We write our story individually, meanwhiles, together as a whole. It is also a reminder the special time that we come through. Our body kept us strong, alive and healed, the heroes who keep the world moving. In this particular painting, the delicate, exotic orchid represents love, luxury, beauty and strength. In ancient Greece, orchids were associated with virility. Pink roses are symbolic of gratitude and appreciation. Flowers represent us as human, the wood tray and vases as the body carrying our soul and physical body, protecting us as a shield in natural order. The weaving basket stands for connections, the connection between families, friends, all the people around us. Even if you are apart, everyone still being linked together as a whole, stronger together. Every passenger in our life, every stranger, people who are meant to cross our path for a reason, plays an irreplaceable role in this lifetime story. The message that I wanted to deliver to the viewer are the vitality and endless possibilities, the grater love that I experienced during my art process and from the mother nature. Being inspired by nature enlighten me in all aspects of life. I started with some small projects, gaining enormous joy and peacefulness from the process. Then I stared to work on more detailed and bigger piece, at the same time, focusing on developing skills and my own style, which is a challenge that I set for myself from time to time, and a challenge I enjoyed with no doubt. I am grateful and beyond humbled that I have the love and support from my collectors and gallery since I started. What is even better is I get to know a little bit more about how the artwork plays an important role in their life. Gradually, Art is no longer a one-man journey to me when I started to get lovely feed backs from collectors round the world, sharing their joyful experience and inspirations from my artworks. For people who read through the description, thank you for joining me on a life time story- a story that I write with my paint brushes, the one last for a life time. I sincerely hope you enjoy this artwork. Artwork completed in Melbourne, Victoria, 2021 Winter. -Bloom like flowers - In this signature series of mine, flowers as the object represent life itself to me. Our own will to be alive, and the way we want to be alive. While I carefully paint these tiny flower petals, or built up those fine leaves’ vines, it is like the way we try to figure out those uncertainty, furthermore, to be able to be closer to the truth a little bit more. Update from my studio- would you like a sneak peak of what’s on my easel? (Final count down for launching this beauty!! ) Hello beautiful people! Here I am on 128 hours on this big one. My daily painting routine normally start from this stage – Meditating in front of the artwork, sometimes with a cup of earl grey in my hand. By Meditating I mean planning and thinking about how I want to do it before the paint brushes touch the canvas, with a clear mind. Like the inflorescence, like how the leave vines expended. How I shall proceed further, like the nature order – everything has its own order, everything falls into the right place in the right time. This short period of time is so important and I love every minute of it. Featured Artwork in the photo- A LIFE TIME STORY (2021) By HSIN LIN Acrylic On Canvas 121.9 x 76.2 x 3.5 cm Artwork inspired by a nature in Melbourne, Victoria, Autumn 2021. Fun Fact – I sometimes dream about the flowers I paint, and I considering it a good dream if I have one. Stay tune for my latest & hope you find what you love. Happy collecting! Here you are looking at my favourite brushes that do Wonders!

Hello beautiful people! Good day! After a very productive (and long) day in studio, I think I am gonna call it a day. I Just want to share something different with you today. So, I am the kind of person who keep their tool for a REALLY long time. One of my all-time favourites is a sable brush that my mother gifted me when I was young. I cherished it and I still use it almost daily. It works perfectly just like an extension of my body. Sometimes I couldn’t believe that I owned that brush for more than 20 years. (The quality hey!) Even the shaft of a brush is now curved after so many years, the rest of it is still good. The brand name on these are long gone due to used & cleaned countlessly time over the years. Thank you everyone for inbox me your lovely comments and inquires. I read them all & answer whenever I receive one. P.s Have any inquiry for the piece that you have kept an eye on for a while? Send me a private message for inquiry or link to my profile for speedy delivery! Hope you enjoy & happy collecting! Warm Regards, Artist, HSIN LIN

AN INSIGHT OF ONE OF THE ARTWORK - BLOOMING - PEONY IN MAUVE

*This painting had also won the 2nd prize in Mont Marte art competition on Nov 2018.* BLOOMING - PEONY IN MAUVE 29/10/2018 by HSIN LIN 41 X 51 X1.5 cm Premium Watercolour on canvas. Ready to hang, D rings and wire attached at the back. Comes with a certificate of authenticity. Sealed with clear varnish spray, can be hung unframed. Side panel painted to match - White. This artwork is inspired by a gorgeous Peony gifted by the lovely gallery owner when I visited Art at Linden Gate at Yarra Valley . The Flowers were in full bloom under the sun, in a tranquil afternoon. I adore peony, therefore this gorgeous bush caught my eye immediately . I was obsessed by the beauty of it so much , so I froze the magical moment in this painting. A delightful experience to paint a painting using one single colour tube. So much possibility that you can achieve in one tube. Life can be that simple, so does joy. Peony is a symbol of prosperity and peace, especially when displayed in full bloom. Affirmation - Everything takes time . Be bold , be creative , you are on your way . - Bloom like flowers series- by HSIN LIN Bloom like spring flowers with no fear. Be grateful of every single minutes that we have. Celebrate the good things in life, believe in yourself that you have the inner strength to learn from the bad. You will never know if you never try. Experiencing the moment. Now is the very best time to be alive. Artwork inspired by a beautiful peony bush in Art at Linden Gate , Yarra Valley, Melbourne, Victoria, Spring, 2018. -HSIN LIN

Affirmation – When in doubt, remember who you wanted to be.

What is art to you? - An insight of the affirmations in my art series. Hello beautiful people! Greetings from my studio in Bayswater.💓 So I realized that I haven’t talk about the affirmations that came along with my artworks. If I can be honest with you, the affirmations I have for every artwork are usually what I want to say to the viewer/ collector, or it may be something that I want to be told by others. I paint flowers to learn and to manifest, but when I paint animal, it’s normally a self-projection. I paint animal to meditate, and I hope the artwork comfort the viewer’s heart. So basically, you are looking into my heart, a dairy that I wrote with paint brushes when you look at my artworks. Noting too difficult, just the raw feelings in the brush strokes. It’s about every day’s life, and I am sure some of you may related to some of them. Sometimes I got feedbacks from my collectors saying how their collections affect their daily life, and I couldn’t be happier to hear from them really. Do you have a favourite piece of mine? Either you’ve already own it or have been keep an eye on? Welcome to let me know if you do. {NEW ART RELEASED!!} From several months to 5 minuts - White Has All the Possibilities - Frutteto Roses (2021) Timelapse video by HSIN LIN ART

White Has All the Possibilities - Frutteto Roses green and pink 29/01/2021 By HSIN LIN Artist Acrylic on Acid free stretched gallery wrapped canvas. Signed at front and ready to hang. D rings and wire attached at the back in gallery standard. Artwork painted extend to all Side panels as photo shown. Comes with certificate of authenticity. Sealed with clear varnish. 50.8 (W) x 61cm (H) x 3.5 cm (D) Affirmation: All the wonderful things in life begin in a simple moment and last an eternity. If you are familiar with my work, you may already know every year I spent several months studying one single object in my signature series - Bloom like flowers. Sometimes a single artwork can take over 6 months to complete depends on the size and how detailed it was. In this signature series of mine, flowers as the object represent life itself to me. Our own will to be alive, and the way we want to be alive. While I carefully paint these tiny flower petals, or built up those fine leaves’ vines, it is like the way we try to figure out those uncertainty, furthermore, to be able to be closer to the truth a little bit more. I started this particular artwork around October 2020 and it had been staying on my easel for several months. If you look close enough, each tiny petal was built up by multiple layers. The process wasn’t an easy task but It’s a challenge that I always enjoyed. It’s been a really long journey. I spent countless days studying those intricate details, sunny days and rainy days. This new variety of rose – Frutteto, is a light pink rose with light green exterior petals. The colour pink is often associated with appreciation, perfection and happiness. Pink elicits feelings of warmth, femininity, and love. Colours also have a psychological influence. From all the colours, green symbolizes nature and the natural world. It is often thought to represent tranquillity, good luck, and health. As for white, for me, white has all the possibilities. Bridal white, white canvas, a page of blank diary, and all the different colours enchanted on pure white petals with sunlight dance on it. The colour white symbolizing simplicity, a fresh start or a new beginning. I remember once my collector asked me a specific question on my solo exhibition years ago – What is the most difficult flower that you’ve ever paint? I thought for a while and answered honestly – Personally I think white flowers are the most difficult object to paint, because colours changed under the light. White flowers are not just in white. It is also one of the reasons I love about it. Precision and a lot of practice are needed to depict delicate details. This artwork is inspired by an amazing rose bouquet that I spotted in the local market. Completed in Melbourne, Victoria, 2021 – The year of a new beginning. Hope you enjoy. Cheers, HSIN LIN

In the Victorian era, orchids were considered a symbol of luxury and wealth. Cymbidium orchids became popular in Europe during the Victorian era. The fact that it can survive during cold temperatures is what makes the plant popular. With the exotic appearance, orchids have long been associated with perfection and passion.
