    And I sometimes don't know how the finish will look

    I trained in Art and design and when I studied Ceramics at University, I loved the unpredictability of the kiln. Opening after a firing was hallways the best moment. I really enjoyed working with clay but my first love has always been painting. I often think the textures and colours I achieved in ceramic are coming to life in my paintings, and the unpredictability of the finished piece is just as exciting.
