I am a self-taught artist originally from Rishikesh, a small town in northern India. Drawing and painting have been lifelong passions since childhood. After spending my youth and over 15 years in Delhi working as an illustrator and animator, I relocated to Basingstoke, UK, in 2011. That same year, I made the pivotal decision to leave my previous career behind and dedicate myself fully to painting.

Deeply influenced by nature and all living things; I seek to capture the spirit and movement of the natural world. I began my fine art journey with watercolors, quickly falling in love with the medium’s fluidity and transparency. While portraiture has always been a natural inclination, I gravitated towards painting animals—finding creative freedom and emotional depth without relying on human models. Over the past decade, I have focused on emotive animal portraits, sharing my work through online galleries and exhibitions.

My style blends realism with loose, expressive brushwork and vibrant color, leaning towards impressionism. Recently, I have expanded my practice to oils and acrylics, exploring seascapes and abstracts that emphasize texture and mood.

My evolving work reflects a continuous journey of experimentation and connection with the natural world.
