    I m back in France for a few days this month, weather is blustery and difficult to paint outside, however I have competed one good #pleinair #oilpainting this will be on the website soon and on display at my Exhibition in #Whitstable at the end of the month.

    The south east coast of England has some beautiful beaches as well as interesting white cliffs! I have moved round from Whitstable on the north coast of Kent to the 7 beaches of Broadstairs; here I am at Joss Bay painting at high tide this week - I shall post the finished painting in my portfolio

    I really enjoy this annual event, this time I took watercolour paper and pens; I clocked in at Chelsea Town ~Hall at 9am and then went straight down to Westminster Bridge where I painted two of Big Ben, both sold! As it rained from 12 noon I went to Waterloo Station for my final painting; this one won a prize at the Exhibition!

    I have just spent a most enjoyable two weeks in the Touraine Vineyards and Cher Valley painting; lots of new ideas for paintings and of course a lovely series of 'plein air' oil paintings. Our lovely french cottage is just a few minutes drive from both locations hence I have many pictures from around here!

    Sadly I have relinquished my Beach Hut to enable me to take an Art Studio at Chatham Nucleus Arts, however I am still enjoing my outdoor work on Whistable Beach and have just been twice to gather information for further paintings. This one is now available ion my Artworks secion

    Land, Sea and Sky - solo exhibition

    Land, Sea and Sky - solo exhibition

    Now exhibiting at the Horsebridge Centre, Whitstable I set up last Wednesday in the Gallery 2 (window Gallery) what a great space and thank you everyone at the Gallery and to John for your help! Lots of people have been in to see me, you can buy oil paintings, prints and cards. Great news the exhibition has been extended for another week so I shall be in the Gallery on Thursday, Friday and Saturday this week, looking forward to seeing more people!
