    Very excited to announce that I am finally doing a solo of my Japanese Collection! This is long overdue (I wanted to do it in 2020 - I'm sure you can understand why that didn't happen...) Obsidian Art are showing my entire Japanese collection, I am also working on a brand new showstopper (hopefully!) and might get chance to do one more piece on top of that if I work fast. Several of the linocuts have sold very well and are already very low in stock, so once they are gone...! Also for sale will be greetings cards and a 2023 calendar of the collection. There will also be a good selection of my UK based work on the walls and in the browsers.     Visit Alexandra's home studio to see a display of her scenic linocuts. Alexandra will be happy to show you her printmaking techniques and current work in progress, or chat to you about her private and group lino printing classes. Alexandra has been a professional printmaker for over seven years. Her work has featured twice in the RA Summer Exhibition and the Mall Galleries in London.     In 2017, linocut artist Alexandra Buckle challenged herself to create fifty different prints throughout the year. See the entire collection of fifty prints exhibited together in her first major solo exhibition. Also on display will be a large selection of favourite linocuts from the past seven years, along with some brand new pieces. Open from 11am - 5pm, Saturday 10th March - Sunday 25th March 2018 (please note, the exhibition is closed Thursdays and Fridays). The Stables, The Courtyard, Claydon Estate, Middle Claydon, Buckinghamshire MK18 2EX FREE ENTRY. Easy parking in the Claydon House National Trust car park, next to the Estate Courtyard. Relax in the Phoenix Tearoom after your visit and browse the other art studios, businesses and galleries on site.

    #50prints2017 Solo Exhibition

    At the beginning of 2017 I challenged myself to complete 50 prints throughout the year. A few months in to the year I decided it would be great to do a Solo Exhibition, early in 2018, to showcase the entire year's work. I have booked The Stables room at Claydon Estate in Buckinghamshire, for just over a week from March 10th 2018. Some of this year's prints have proved very popular so I have had to hold a few back. This will be the only chance to see the entire collection together! You can use the hashtag #50prints2017 on facebook twitter and instagram to check in on my challenge progress :)

    This print probably took the most hours of any of my pieces. This is the block for Autumn Beeches. It can take many hours to cut some designs - this one seemed to take me forever! I'm relieved to have finished this one and thrilled that it came out so well. See it listed in my shop.

    Brand New Press!

    Brand New Press!

    I'm very excited to have the help of this brand new press - bought with proceeds from my Artfinder sales! The Sunshine Fields print behind is the last of my large works printed by arm/wrist power. It is incredibly tiring printing large multi-coloured work by hand! You will be seeing more large work from me now :)
