A lovely piece by this fine artist, which really conveys for me the emotional tone of Cape Cornwall. (This has emotional significance for me as I did a 500 mile walk in my mid thirties from Land's End to mid Wales, and remember vividly walking the Cornish Coast Path and going round Cape Cornwall). Cornwall always feels to me like a Celtic land beyond England, particularly the wilder places on the coast that Tim has portrayed here, and it's lovely to have this memory of my walk. Tim's confident use of colour, in this very strong and well-balanced composition, creates a rich and vivid image of Cape Cornwall. It's a great pleasure to add it to my collection.
