I've had some good conversations with Tim and he knows I love his work. I bought another and it will be here any day. He worries that the packaging withstands the gorilla mail handlers in the UK and USA.

It arrived without any problems. This painting, and the other Isles of Scilly will go together well. I also ordered another (;-) and this one is Mousehole Harbor at low tide. I think the three will make a nice triplet. You do a great job of packing it with cardboard to stiffen and protect the picture. So you don't have to worry about the packing.

I'm really happy with my Tim Treagust painting and it looks great on the wall of my cottage. It arrived in good time and Tim got in touch straightaway. I will definitely be buying others from him in the future.

As a result of buying this painting I will probably try and visit the artist's gallery in Cornwall if I am there. It is always nice if the artist sends a note with his painting, and I am not sure that Tim Treagust did, apart from suggesting that I visited his gallery if ever in Cornwall; I would have preferred something relating to the current sale, otherwise it is more like promoting his gallery. I don't see why he should not do this, but the personal touch is most encouraging to the buyer. I like my painting a lot and wish I was able to afford a larger on.

Thank you for you comments. I am glad you like your painting. I shall take your suggestion onboard regarding a personal note to the buyer. I can see why this would add to the purchasing experience. I do, however, take every opportunity I can to promote my gallery since it is in a secondary trading area of Penzance and can easily get overlooked by visitors. Thanks again and I may see you in The Tradstract gallery, Penzance sometime in the near future. Oops, I have just taken another opportunity to advertise it!
