The triptych is resin cast and gilded with copper leaf.
The aging patina, obtained with chemicals, gives the piece an old look.
A final coat of bitumen enhances the physical texture of the relief.
The spectacular Yuanyang Terraced Fields, whose history dates back to 1300 years ago, are all carved following the mountains' original contour lines, forming an amazing landscape.
Their strong three-dimensional effect inspired me to create this wall relief, formed by 3 separate panels designed to be displayed either close to each other or slightly spaced.
The triptych is ready to hang, each panel has one hidden hook on the back.
