I had an overwhelming urge to paint a peace symbol. I was working on some mandalas inspired by the Tibetan art I was surrounded by in Dharamsala, in the foothills of the Himalayas, when suddenly I started painting this symbol of peace.
I'm not sure if it was inspired by the sanctuary of the peaceful mountains or the fact that I was listening to the Beatles 'Give Peace A Chance' as the monsoon rain bucketed down outside, but either way, this symbol of peace is dedicated to all those who are working toward peace for all.
