Artist's description:

This piece, You Go Back To Her, is the second in a series of female figurative works depicting the subject in either a silk or satin clothing. I love the way that these materials fold and turn upon themselves and easily reflect the ambient light, thus defining the form of the body of the subject. The title of this piece is taken from the Amy Winehouse track Back to Black, as during the production of this piece I was told that the girl looked a little like the singer, if she does then it’s unintentional, so I will leave that up to the viewer. As I like my titles to add intrigue to a piece, the title of this piece could have connotations other than the presence of the singer, but again that’s down to the viewer to make up their own story. The piece is drawn on 120gsm paper, and mounted in a white outer, black inner mount and a flat black satin frame, to hint at the satin nature of the garment. The piece is also framed behind non-reflective glass, which softens the piece even more, further enhancing the look of the garment.

This piece will be sold with a signed certificate of authenticity.

Purchasers from outside the EU will be responsible of any import taxes.
