Original artwork description:

Oil painting on stretched linen 8"x10"x1.4". Linen canvas is Primed with clear, acrylic primer gesso, showing natural linen fibers. I painted this piece using Richeson Shiva Paintstiks, which are solid oil paints in stick-form that easily blend straight from the stick onto canvas. I mixed colors directly on linen canvas, blending them with my fingers. After the oil paint was dry, I covered it with a protective coat of Gamvar varnish. The sides are unpainted natural linen, primed with clear acrylic gesso.

The painting is unframed, wired in the back on stretcher bars, and is ready to hang without a frame.
