Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

I think almost everyone knows the story about a young man who pined away in love for his own image in a pool of water and was transformed into the flower that bears his name. Also `narcissus` (`narkissos`) is possibly derived from meaning `sleep, numbness`.
As you can see , flowers are floating in silver space. Blue and violet color symbolizes peacefulness, numbness and a deep sleep. Yellow flowers bond together represents self absorption. So this painting is about illusion which takes birth if we think about our own `image` too much.
Technically, this painting was painted on linen canvas. I used my favorite `Van Dyck` oil colors and few metallic oil colors (silver, gold and copper) to make shimmering effect.
