Artist's description:

“Yasou People III”, is the third painting in a series (one and two have sold). “Yasou” is Japanese for field grass. My husband calls them "my peoples" as each “blade of grass” has its own personality. My oldest son is autistic, and when he was little I would draw faces for him to teach him what facial expressions meant as autistic children have a very hard time understanding the subtleties of expressions and body language. Colors include blues, grey, black, and white. This painting is on 30” x 40” x 1.5” museum quality gallery wrapped canvas. The sides are painted black, so framing is optional. Yasou People III is wired and ready to hang.

Materials used:

acrylic paints and colored pencil
