The beautiful wooden handicrafts of India are the inspiration behind this painting. The glossy wooden birds hanging from strings adds to the beauty and décor of many an Indian house. I used to look at them and think that they are such lovely, beautiful birds but they can’t fly.

We think that all we require in life is money, material possessions and external beauty to thrive but we fail to realize it is the friendships and relationships in life that make us happy and allow our hearts to soar. So, we, as a society, have become very like these birds “without wings”.

This comes with a thick, sturdy, black frame!
