Original artwork description:

Although this large "Impression Realism" original oil painting is based on the old Mudejar entrance to The Church of Santiago, the oldest of Malaga in Spain, it creates a whole new image. The invitation to enter into the experience from the tide-line, passing through the doorway with all its fine details... viewing the sea as it stretches to eternity, relates the feeling of the passage through life itself. Where do we come from and where are we going? The demand to live life is reflected by the almost desert stretches of dunes which frame the entrance.
