I was on my way to the cabin on skiis with my camera strapped around my neck. It was a grey day and the sunlight was working hard through the clouds and mist. Then suddenly there was that kind of light that would make you stop and lift your gaze. I hurriedly metered it and prepared my camera. I knew that a photo occasion would soon present itself. I skiid on and came upon this site. The horizon line was barely noticeable but I composed my image and waited for that weak light to break through
