An original oil painting on canvas by Australian artist Scott Maxwell
This canvas is heavily textured, there are many layers of oil colour building up the surface, I also use some other textural materials to add interest, they can be seen up closer. The very warm palette gives the impression of warm summer days maybe a sunrise or sunset, and a feeling of movement and of something mysterious in the wind.
This painting is on a thick edged stretched canvas the edges of the canvas are painted black and a hanging wire is attached to the back so it is ready to hang on your wall with or without a frame.
