This is the view through the window space of one of the abandoned bulidings at the bottom of Moel Ddu in North Wales.
The moss grows in the spaces between the weathered stones which shine in the inevitably wet atmosphere. The surrounding hills are viewed through a light mist - just as we saw them as we climbed Moel Ddu itself. A mining area in the past it the site is now abandoned, leaving only a few derelict buildings dotted over the landscape.
Painted in artists oils in a realistic manner, on canvas and framed in a simple wood surround.
