Wind Farmer original figurative landscape painting.
Oils on Belgium linen on board. Mounted on a dark wood frame.
Finished in a soft sheen art lacquer & ready to hang.
The portrait is of Rosemarie, big sister to my childhood friend Leonard. They lived in a very large tumble down Georgian house that must have been a grand home many years before.
The farm house in the back ground was where Mr. Conner used to live. His dog Finn shared the same name as the dog in the painting.
Leonard's home never had electricity and he would watch television in my house. They always had ample food as they grew everything and I often had my meals there and went home with fresh laid eggs.
I always wished they had electricity, so in the painting I have Rosemarie tending to a 'crop' of wind turbines.
