this is one of the wild horses of Carot Island on the outer banks of North Carolina. These mustang ponies are descended from horses brought by the Spaniards over 500 years ago. they live free and have endures all sorts of weather adversities...including hurricanes. One of their uniqueness is that they swim from island to island.
They represent freedom and independence.
