Artist's description:

The old buildings of the university suffer frequent rodent infestations, and one solution devised by the office staff is to poke in handfuls of dried flower petals infused with suitable essences to try to mask the pong of decaying mice!
I imagined healthy little fellows nibbling upon the delicacies and then lying down for a well-earned rest!

I am inspired by the colour and designs of Old Tuptonware, the Moorcroft Design Studio, Anita Harris, Lorna Bailey, in fact anyone who can strike the right combination of boldness and vibrancy.

My little offerings may show recognisable design shapes for the vases, whilst the felines are based upon our own famous six Ginger Nuts, with the usual health warning that "No Pussy Cats were dyed or painted in the preparation of this motion picture"!

And as Tommy Cooper (another hero) used to quip, "Spoon, Jar ... Jar, Spoon"

Now I wonder how I can include these illustrations into another story.
